My Train is a special commemorative collection of Michael Rogatchi works created in between 1991 and 2025 and addressing the reflections, thoughts and feelings evoked by the Shoah and its never disappearing echo that would be compatible with the tragic experience and a very deep books of the great Elie Wiesel, whom the artist and his wife had a honour to know personally and be friendly with during many years.
In some of the works, Elie’s personal recollections and thought that he had never shared publicly, have been reflected. More about this aspect of the collection can be read in the essay describing the works in question, here.
The collection has been created in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Elie Wiesel’s passing ( in July 2026) as part of the international art commemorative project and initiative.
