Michael Rogatchi’s artworks has become a part of the new Bilvavi project on Jewish heritage . The project is run by Michael Rogatchi in cooperation with his wife Inna Rogatchi. Many art works in TRIBES. The SONS OF ISRAEL art series are co-operation of Michael and Inna Rogatchi, with Michael Rogatchi’s art works being incorporated into Inna Rogatchi’s art collages representing the series. Michael Rogatchi’s art work POOR YORICK dedicated to Marcello Mastroianni has become a special art tribute to the great actor on his 95th birthday. Mastroianni is the one of the most beloved actors by Michael Rogatchi. The story of his artistic tribute to him is rather dramatic. Back in 1996, the artist has completed his work which he had been creating for the artist, on the day of Mastroianni’s passing. Now, to commemorate the Mastroianni’s 95th anniversary, Michael Rogatchi has made his artistic tribute to the great Italian actor and wonderful man.

Mini-series of Michael Rogatchi presented in Jerusalem

Three new artworks by Michael Rogatchi were presented at the special occasion in Jerusalem, at the Ein Kerem Modern Art Centre. The new mini-series featured three stages of music, classical music, Yiddish folk music, and Jewish spiritual music. ” In my view and understanding, these three stages of music important for me and my friends, are inter-connected by the essence of Jewish soul and souls of Jewish musicians, unparalleled musicians in the world” – said the artist on this new mini-series. After the special presentation, the new works of Michael Rogatchi will stay in Jerusalem, belonging to a notable art collection.

The calendar is produced by The Rogatchi Foundation for charitable purposes, in support of young artists and the Foundation special programs for them.

Michael Rogatchi participates in the new international project dedicated to Leonard Cohen and his legacy. FINGERPRINTS: TRIBUTE TO LEONARD COHEN is the project conceived by Inna Rogatchi who is the author and curator of this new international project. Michael participates in the project with his existing and new works to be created specifically for it. The project involves close cooperation between Finnish and Lithuanian co-partners, with participation of Norwegian and other partners, and is conceived as international tour. Some of Michael Rogatchi’s known works from his LIBERTANGO series were presented in London. In particular, Without Ending, and The Light of the Songs were among the works presented. After the special presentation, the works will be staying in London becoming the parts of notable art collections.

Michael Rogatchi’s artworks were featured in Inna Rogatchi’s essay Heart Made of Scars: Tisha B’Av and Art. The essays analyses the impact of emotional spiritual art on the process of understanding of history and spiritual legacy. Among the Michael’s works featured are The Memories of the Kotel, Jerusalem. SPECIAL PRESENTATION OF MUSIC IN CAPTIVITY PROJECT IN SENATE OF ITALIAN REPUBLIC

Michael Rogatchi was invited to participate in special presentation of important project, Music in Captivity, in the Senate of Italian Republic in Rome. The project that focuses on construction of arts & music multi-complex in Bari, Italy, is the brain-child of Italian maestro Francesco Lotoro, close associate of Michael and Inna Rogatchi. Michael Rogatchi supports the project and participates in its progress. Some of Michael’s art will be exhibited in the art museum of Music in Captivity complex, as well.
